MATCH準備-MyERAS

進入到MyERAS 系統中 , 會發現有密密麻麻的表格要填
MyERAS user guide- 用到機會不大, 不過如果有什麼問題可以在裡面查

這裡有 Step by Step 的動畫超詳細介紹,省下我不少的時間

注意: 以上資訊只適用於MATCH2011
每一年都會有可能新的版本出現, 不過差異應該很小

其中, 我需要提醒的地方
Account Tab
1.Profile->Citizenship: 如果你是非公民需要工作簽證, 在 "

	If you are a foreign National, outside the U.S. or currently in the U.S. in valid visa status, please respond: Will you need “visa sponsorship” through ECFMG or the teaching hospital in order to participate in U.S. residency training?

               這個問題答案要填 "Yes", 而非 "No" 或 "Uncertain", 不需要選 Expected Visa 
2. Profile: 如果到美國電話有改, 請到這邊改通訊電話或地址, 這樣program才找的到你
3.Message Center: program寄訊息給你會跑到這邊

Application Tab 
1.Education:台灣一般醫學院沒有碩博士, 這邊要寫 "None",
2.Medical Edication: 台灣是 Medical Bachalor
3.Training:是Residency或fellowship 才算, Reason of leaving可以寫: Completion of Internal medicine(或是其他) rotation/training
4.Experience: 沒有薪水的observership/externship/clerkship一律算volumnteer, 有領薪水的internship/醫療替代役/醫院打工算是work
5.Examination: usmle通過與否, 不要謊報也不要"預知"會通過, 因為都查的到
6.Lisensure :如果在其中一項寫yes, 就要多加解釋, 在board certified 一項我寫"yes" -Taiwan National Medical Board
7.State Medical Licenses:如果你有我會很驚訝....
8.Race/Ethnicity: 要不要說都可以, 因為從台灣來大家大概也猜的到是asian
9.Hobbies/Interests: 多寫一點, 如果面試官跟你有一樣的興趣會大加分

注意:Application Tab 一旦提交出去這部分就不能在修改了, 所以裡面的資料一定要在一再的檢查修改, application tab 提交出去後並不會影響到account/ Document/Program Tab, 所以不會影響到personal statement或 LOR, 所以可以再作修改或創造新的 Personal statement/LOR
而Application Tab 產生出來的文件就是CV 和CAF(Common Application Form)

Document Tab:

USMLE transcript: 最好兩個問題都回答yes, 要讓 program知道你的USMLE成績才有機會面試
Personal Statement: 可以創造出多個personal statement, 寫完personal statement之後的confirmation page是讓你查看打的字有沒有變成亂碼, 如何寫personal statement留待下次介紹
LOR: LOR的author title/name要跟你寄到ECFMG寫的一樣

Program Tab

Search Program:可以先把想要的program選好, 在9月初的時候在一起送出, 至於如何選program請看我以前的post
Track Applications:也就是ADTS系統, 下次介紹


如果你是屬於很早就想把事情準備好的人, 可以把worksheet列印下來先用紙筆填好, 到可以註冊myERAS的時候再填到電腦
